Breaking the Stress Cycle
Stress and thinking are the same. You can’t have stress without thought and its bag full of emotions coming into your mind for a stay. The idea is to interrupt the stress train before it gets on the circular track in your mind. Here is a helpful chart that shows you four ways to break the track and derail the stress train.

Oh, and this is interesting, after I put together this chart I realized that each of the four portals have corresponding wisdom teachings behind them. RAIN is Buddhism; Conscious Breathing is Buddhism and Eckhart Tolle; Allow & Forgive is the teaching of Jesus, and Stretching to release tension is Yoga. Of course they all mix it up a bit, but you get the idea.
